How it Started
Zipwakes vision was to develop a solution to the well-known trim problems experienced in planing and semi-planing boats. In 2011, a carefully selected team of engineers with solid knowledge and experience from the marine and automotive industry was put together to solve the problem. After three and a half years of intense product development, the first Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control system, the Series S, was launched in Amsterdam in November at METS 2014.
What does ZIPWAKE do?
Zipwake Series S, is the world’s first inexpensive dynamic trim-control system. The system incorporates a state-of-the-art family of fully automatic, durable, fast-acting interceptors. Zipwake significantly enhances the boat’s performance, fuel economy, comfort and safety when accelerating, turning or running in a seaway.
Zipwake dynamically eliminates uncomfortable and dangerous boat pitch and roll, making a more comfortable and safe journey for skipper and passengers alike. The design automatically minimizes wave resistance and saves fuel.

The Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System comes complete with everything you need, including all necessary parts and software for active motion control. This at a reasonable price due to mass production and use of micro components developed for the marine and automotive industries.
Zipwake’s stylish control panel is carefully designed to be user-friendly and intuitive to allow the driver to focus on the right thing – enjoying the boat ride!
The panel’s two unique control wheels provide easy, quick and intuitive manual control of running trim, heel or heading. However, the system normally operates in automatic control mode, which is enabled by a single press on the AUTO button. In this mode, the built-in high-frequency GPS, 3D gyro sensors and robust motion controller automatically ensure dynamic elimination of uncomfortable and dangerous boat pitch and roll.
