Extreme Boats are designed for high speed sea performance, while retaining a high chine with full shoulder and wide beam for excellent sea-handling and amazing stability.
Not only do Extreme Boats look great, but the hull performance and structural strength is second-to-none. While most competitors use thin 3mm aluminium extensively, Extreme Boats use only the highest grade aluminium with a minimum thickness of 4mm. All structure is fully welded, all buoyancy and fuel tanks are pressurized and certified, and aluminum sheet certification can be verified.
Extreme Boats are the best finished alloy boat on the market today. Clean flowing lines and a professional finish create a very pleasing aesthetic, so much so that at boat shows the hulls are constantly being tapped by boaties trying to determine whether they are manufactured from fibreglass or aluminum. Combine the Extreme Boat Deep Vee hull design with a pair of very large aft chine flats and you get excellent stability and unmatched performance in a following sea. Add to this a flooding keel and, whether at rest or full-throttle you can be confident of a very stable, soft, dry ride. Even if you were to walk away from the helm at 25 knots and shift all the load to one side the boat it will not deviate from its line. No other alloy boat on the market is capable of this level of stability and would instead veer dangerously to port or starboard.
The safety and comfort of boaties and their passengers is of prime importance and as such, standard with all Extreme Boats come a number of great comfort and safety design features and fittings. All Extreme Boat designs provide excellent visibility from the helm, along with safety and protection from the elements. Wide gunnels with a good internal height, good wide walk arounds, and easy access to the anchor provide extra safety for boaties and passengers alike. As well as handrails throughout the boat, a swim step and tread plates for durability and passenger safety, all designs come with a tee style dive ladder, perfect for divers to use without needing to first remove fins. Steps and ladders fold away neatly when not in use. Finally, buyers have the assurance of knowing that all Extreme Boats hulls are built to survey standards and are New Zealand Boat Building Standard Compliance Plate Certification (CPC) certified.
Being keen fishermen ourselves, we understand the importance of having a great gear and bait storage set up. Most models have a built in bait tank which can be plumbed and pumped, or which can be used as an additional storage area. Add to this a massive under floor storage space with concealed hinges (no stubbed toes!) which can be used for wet storage, dive gear, spare anchors, catch – or even an oversized live bait tank if needed.
